As an instructor, you will shape and mold the future beauty professionals in our business. Leading by your example, you will have an instrumental effect in constructively demonstrating the techniques you learned during your career.

In Arizona, the instructors course is 650 hours in length which takes about 4 1/2 months to complete on a full-time schedule. After graduating from beauty school you must pass the Arizona State Board instructor's exam to become licensed. To enroll in the instructors course, you will need a high school diploma or GED and have at least one year of certified licensed work experience in your instructional field.

VIDEO EDUCATION

Maricopa Beauty College has a complete video education program that allows our students to learn basic and advanced subjects. Video tapes, CDs, and DVDs, purchased from outside sources, make up our growing film library. These tapes are utilized during our basic educational program and our career specialization advanced training seminars.

COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY

The school utilizes computer technology in all aspects of the educational program. During classes and educational seminars, computerized presentations using PowerPoint slide shows make it easier and more interesting to learn. Students who need state board preparation or subject review assistance may use our computerized tutoring center, which helps them master any subject more effectively.
